Privacy
Recall Tracker Network is a public information site. There are no visitor accounts, no advertising, and no cross-site tracking. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to serve pages and keep the site up.
What we don’t do
- We don’t run advertising or sell data.
- We don’t embed third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- We don’t ask you to create an account or submit personal information to browse recalls.
What is collected
- Server logs. Like any website, our servers record standard request information (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user-agent) to operate, secure, and debug the service. These logs are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
- Functional cookies. The site may set a first-party cookie required for basic functionality and security (for example, request integrity). We don’t use cookies to profile you across other sites.
Third parties in the request path
- Cloudflare provides content delivery and security in front of the site and therefore processes requests on our behalf.
- Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving the font files.
Outbound links to a regulator’s official recall record (NHTSA, Transport Canada, etc.) take you to that agency’s own site, which has its own privacy practices.

Questions about this notice can be sent to the address published on the site. Because this is a public reference tool with no accounts, there is usually no personal data on file to access or delete beyond transient server logs.
