The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the wiring harness for the driver's and/or passenger's seat ventilation system may not have enough protection and could become damaged. As a result, the wiring harness(es) could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, PACCAR advises you not to use the seat ventilation functions until recall repairs have been completed. PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the wire harness(es), as necessary.
