Lucid Air: Lights and Instruments
Affects Lucid Air · 2022–2026 — about 128 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain vehicles, the circuits for the exterior lighting may not have proper circuit protection. As a result, the wiring and components could overheat and melt, and the exterior lights may not work. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or components that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Exterior lights that don't work could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Lucid advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Lucid will notify owners by mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.10.0 or a later release.
