The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the fasteners for the steering gearbox may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the fasteners could loosen and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace and tighten the steering gearbox fasteners. Any damaged parts will be replaced.
