Forest River Impression: Electrical
Affects Forest River Impression · 2026 — about 9 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the insulation on the wires for the shore power inlet may not have been removed properly. As a result, the wires could be exposed and cause electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: Electrical arcing can create the risk of a fire. Exposed wiring could create a risk of shock or electrocution. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Forest River will instruct dealers to inspect and, if necessary, repair the wiring for the shore power inlet before the trailers are delivered. To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to use the shore power inlet until the recall repairs are completed.
