The hazard

Issue: On certain transit buses, the emergency exit window latch could fail. As a result, the emergency exit window could open during a crash or be difficult to open in an emergency. Safety Risk: An emergency exit window that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury. An emergency exit that's difficult to open could slow your exit from the bus in an emergency and increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to repair the emergency exit window latch.
