The hazard

Issue: On one school bus, the reinforcements under the floor may not have been installed. As a result, the seats and/or seat belts could detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat and/or seat belt that detaches could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Action: International Motors will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their school bus to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install reinforcements under the floor.
