The hazard

Issue: On certain boat trailers, the wrong brake lines may have been installed during production. As a result, the brake line could break at the connection with the caliper. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Malibu will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the brake lines.
