Forest River Impression: Suspension
Affects Forest River Impression · 2025–2026 — about 14 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wrong suspension parts may have been installed on the axle(s). As a result, the trailer could be overloaded and cause a wheel to detach and/or and a leaf spring to fail. This could lead to poor handling and cause a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that detaches from the trailer could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River recommends not to load the RV trailer with water, propane or personal belongings until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the suspension parts.
