Land Rover Range Rover: Suspension
Affects Land Rover Range Rover · 2015 — about 16 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Land Rover dealer during recall N759 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-668) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the front suspension knuckles could crack and/or break. A front knuckle that breaks while driving could cause a sudden loss of vehicle control. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front suspension knuckles. If the knuckles aren't cracked, the dealer will install retaining brackets. If cracks are found, the dealer will replace the knuckle(s).
