Temsa TS 45, TS 30: Electrical
Affects Temsa TS 45, TS 30 · 2023–2025 — about 24 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain buses, the multiplexer may not have been wired correctly. As a result, the "temporary bus stop" valve may unintentionally activate and apply the brakes while driving. If this happens, the bus could stop unexpectedly, and the brakes could overheat. Safety Risk: A bus that stops unexpectedly could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Additionally, overheated brakes could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Temsa will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a Temsa Service Center to update the vehicle software, and to correct the multiplexer wiring.
