Can-Am Origin, Pulse: High Voltage

Affects Can-Am Origin, Pulse · 2025 — about 267 vehicles.

The hazard

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the breather valve for the high-voltage battery may not be properly sealed. As a result, water could enter the high-voltage battery. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheel and/or the high-voltage battery could overheat. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheel could increase the risk of a crash. A battery that overheats can create a fire risk, even while the motorcycle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, BRP advises not to drive your motorcycle in water above the foot pegs until the recall repairs have been completed. BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the breather valve. The dealer will also install a new battery housing protection plate.
