The hazard

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the fuel vent hose may not have been routed correctly. As a result, fuel could leak from the vent hose if the snowmobile is flipped. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Widescape advises that if the snowmobile flips, you should wait 5 minutes before restarting it. Widescape will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to re-route the fuel vent hose.
