Micro Bird G5 Commercial Bus, Mbii Commercial Bus +1 more: Structure

Affects Micro Bird G5 Commercial Bus, Mbii Commercial Bus, T-Series Commercial Bus · 2008–2025 — about 2K vehicles.

The hazard

Issue: On certain buses, the exterior handle for the rear emergency door may not be strong enough. As a result, the handle could break and cause the emergency door not to be able to be opened from the outside. Safety Risk: A door that can't be opened could slow your exit from the bus in an emergency. This could also delay emergency responders from entering the bus. Both issues could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to replace the rear emergency door exterior handle.
