The hazard

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the fuel pump flange could leak. If this happens, fuel could leak onto hot surfaces that are nearby. Note: This recall only affects snowmobiles equipped with a Prostar S4 engine. Safety Risk: A fuel leak could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Polaris recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs are completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail. and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump flange gasket.
