The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the suspension hangers for the torque rods may not have been welded properly. As a result, the suspension hangers could fail and cause an increase in steering effort. Safety Risk: A change in steering effort could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace the suspension hangers.
