The hazard

Issue: In certain conditions, the engine may be too loud and may not meet certain sound emission requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects certain snowmobiles with a Patriot 850 engine. Safety Risk: An engine that is too loud could increase the risk of a hearing injury. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and provide you with rubber trim and installation instructions. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the trim installed at a Polaris dealership.
