Lion C: Brakes
Affects Lion C · 2024–2025 — about 93 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain school buses, the antilock braking system (ABS) valves and rear wheel speed sensors may not have been connected correctly. As a result, the vehicle could become unstable and a rear wheel could lock up, if the ABS is activated. Safety Risk: A rear wheel that locks up suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lion Électrique will advise owners by mail and provide you with precautions that may be taken to reduce the safety risks. Lion will also contact owners and arrange for a service team to inspect and connect the ABS valves and rear wheel speed sensors correctly.
