The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the fuel gauge float inside the fuel tank could detach. If this happens, the fuel gauge would not display the correct fuel level. As a result, the driver may be unaware of how much fuel is in the tank, and the vehicle could run out of fuel and stall. Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a 265 L or 340 L fuel tank. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hino will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the fuel sender.
