The hazard

Issue: On certain buses, the driveshaft could break while driving and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. The driveshaft could also separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace the driveshaft.
