The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, a problem with the engine control software could cause the throttle pedal not to work. If this happens, the truck could unexpectedly slow to idle speed while driving. Safety Risk: A truck that unexpectedly slows to idle speed could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle control software.
