The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, a wire for the ignition button could be damaged by contact with a steel support bracket. If this happens, the wire could short circuit and cause the vehicle to shift into the Park (P) position while driving. Safety Risk: A vehicle that suddenly shifts to Park while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Morgan Olson will notify the owners by mail and provide instructions for how to install a new wire harness and support bracket.
