The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the bolts that attach the driveshaft may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the driveshaft could separate from the truck. If this happens, there would be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that detaches from a vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Xos Inc. will notify owners by mail. The driveshaft bolts and related hardware will be replaced at no cost to the owner.
