Affects Hino L6, L8, L7 · 2022–2023 — about 463 vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain trucks, the fuel pickup tube may be too close to the bottom of the fuel tank. As a result, the tube could bottom out and restrict fuel flow. If this happens, the engine could stall suddenly while driving. Safety risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hino will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to adjust or replace the fuel pickup tube.
