The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks and walk-in vans, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will contact owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
