The hazard

Issue: On certain trucks, the ring terminal that attaches the battery ground cable to the frame may break. If this happens, there could be a loss of electrical power and the engine could shut off suddenly. Safety Risk: A loss of power while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the battery ground cable.
