The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, the front wheel nuts and red locking clips may not have been installed correctly during the pre-delivery preparation. As a result, the front wheels could loosen and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. Corrective Action: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the front wheels installation.
