The hazard

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the ignition switch wiring could be damaged by contact with the frame. If this happens, the engine could stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to install a VIN label protector that reroutes wiring. Dealers will also inspect the wiring for any damage and will repair or replace it, as necessary.
