The hazard

Issue: Certain vacuum excavator trailers were built without a rear impact guard. Canadian Regulations require a rear impact guard be installed on trailers where the frame extends past the structure. Safety Risk: A trailer that does not have a rear impact guard installed could cause a following vehicle to underride the trailer in a crash. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to install a rear impact guard.
