The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag could deploy without warning. Safety Risk: An airbag that deploys without a crash could create a risk of injury. It could also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Daimler Trucks North America Authorized Service Facility to install a new airbag wiring harness and clockspring. Note: This supersedes recall 2018-624. Trucks that were fixed require a second repair under this recall.
