Manac B-Train Flatbed Trailer: Other
Affects Manac B-Train Flatbed Trailer · 2011–2017 — about 23 vehicles.
The hazard
Certain trailers equipped with steel side rails may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 905 - Trailer Cargo Anchoring Devices. Under certain loading conditions, the cargo securing chains hanger bracket could break. If this occurs, the cargo could slide and fall off the trailer, creating a road hazard which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install an aluminum spacers between the tie-down extrusion and the side rail of the trailer.
