The hazard

On certain travel trailers, the propane tank retaining rings may have been manufactured incorrectly. Over time, movement of the propane tanks and could potentially cause the metal retaining strap to fail, and result in the propane tanks falling from the vehicle. If this were to happen while the trailer is in motion, it could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install new propane tank retaining rings.
