Kawasaki Z900 Abs, Z900: Suspension
Affects Kawasaki Z900 Abs, Z900 · 2016–2017 — about 446 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the rear shock absorber tie-rod frame mounts can become elongated if the rear shock absorber bottoms out. This could result in frame mount breakage and rear suspension collapse, affecting vehicle handling and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the frame and add additional brackets, or replace the frame, as necessary. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop riding their motorcycle until the defect has been repaired.
