IC Bus Ce Commercial Bus: Brakes

Affects IC Bus Ce Commercial Bus · 2018 — about 2 vehicles.

The hazard

On certain buses, the hydraulic brake drop hose to the brake calipers on the steer axle may be improperly routed. This could cause the drop hose to come in contact with the tire which could cause a fluid leak during brake application, which could result in a pull condition and increase stopping distances. These conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-route the drop hoses to the steer axle brake calipers and replace any drop hoses found with abrasion damage.
