The hazard
Certain buses equipped with additional seats may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The additional seats could cause them to exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), which could lead to premature tire failure and vehicle overloading, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
