The hazard
Certain child seats may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 213.2 - Booster Seats. Discrepancies exist between the English and French mass and height requirements indicated on the labelling affixed to the booster seat as well as in the instruction manual, contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: All registered owners with affected car seats will be provided instructions on how to obtain a repair kit containing corrected instruction manuals and labels. Non-registered owners, or owners who have moved, should contact Diono at 1-866-954-9786 to obtain a repair kit.
