Triumph Daytona 675, Street Triple: Electrical
Affects Triumph Daytona 675, Street Triple · 2006–2009 — about 911 vehicles.
The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the regulator/rectifier can overheat and prevent battery charging. Once the battery is fully discharged, the motorcycle will stall. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the rider’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the regulator/rectifier.
