The hazard

On certain fire trucks equipped with a Meritor Wabco Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, electromagnetic interference may simulate a false yaw event in the control module for the ESC system, leading the system to inadvertently interpreting a vehicle instability. Inadvertent brake application to a selected wheel without prior warning may cause the driver to try and over correct, resulting in a vehicle crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will relocate the transmission power cable.
