The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the fuel tank may experience local deformation under high heat conditions that creates contact of the tank with the cylinder head. In some cases the tank rubbing on the head has created a fuel leak which could result in a fire and a crash. A motorcycle crash could result in personal injuries or death. Correction: Dealers will install a bracket to prevent the fuel tank from contacting the cylinder head.
