Learning Curve True Fit - C630C: Label

Affects Learning Curve True Fit - C630C · 2008 — about 2K vehicles.

The hazard

On certain infant/child seats, the pictogram portion of the French label, affixed to the side of the seat, contains incorrect occupant weight range information. The label indicates a range for the rear-facing mode as 10.5 to 29 kg (23 to 65 lb), and for the forward-facing mode as 2.3 to 10kg (5 to 22 lb). The weight ranges had been inadvertently reversed. The correct weight ranges should read rear-facing mode from 2.3 to 10kg (5 to 22 lb) and forward-facing from 10.5 to 29 (23 to 65 lb). Incorrect use of the restraint could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant during a vehicle crash. Correction: Owners will be provided with updated labels, and installation instructions.
