The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the chain slider guard mounting bolts may become loose and fall out. If this were to occur, the chain slider guard could become caught in the drive chain and cause a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will apply thread-locking compound and torque the mounting bolts to specs.
