The hazard
Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment. The rear reflex reflector (red) and the intermediate reflex reflector (amber) were omitted during vehicle assembly. Inadequate reflex reflection would reduce the vehicle's visibility during night driving conditions, which could cause a crash. Correction: Reflectors with permanent adhesive backing will be mailed to owners along with installation instructions. In the event the owner does not feel comfortable installing the reflectors, they will be instructed to take their vehicle to the nearest Damon dealer to have the repair done free of charge.
