The hazard
On certain flatdeck trailers, the cargo winches mounted on the side of the trailer do not meet prescribed strength requirements. The non-compliant winch mountings may fail and cause the cargo to shift, or fall from the trailer. Correction: Dealers will reinforce winch mountings.
