The hazard

On certain vehicles, a spacer plate under the trailing arms of the rear suspension has a transverse weld which can eventually cause the trailing arms to crack. This condition can create a rough driving condition and damage the rear suspension system. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the trailing arms and u-bolts.
