The hazard

On certain trailers, improperly applied weld attachment of the upper bogie rails to the crossmembers could result in fatigue failure and separation of the bogie rails from the crossmembers. This could in turn result in a trailer turn over and a crash without prior warning. Correction: Trailers will be inspected and rail attachment welds will be repaired and attachment clips and gussets will be installed.
