The incorrect lower mount/base cup may result in the shock absorbers not remaining properly secured to the vehicle, affecting vehicle handling and increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

TAP will notify owners and provide replacement shock absorbers that have a correct lower mount/base cup, free of charge. The recall began September 28, 2018. Owners may contact TAP customer service 1-888-376-1417.
