In the event of a crash, the seat belt attachment could break and fail to restrain a seat occupant, increasing the risk of injury.

What to do

BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the left rear seat frame, free of charge. The recall began November 2014. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 or [email protected].
