The hazard

If the ladder does not have the support of the backer, when the ladder is used, the screws can pull out of the trailer wall and the ladder may give, increasing the risk of injury to the ladder user.

What to do

Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the placement of the ladder, and install a backer if the ladder is installed on the wrong side, free of charge.
