Jeep Grand Cherokee: Airbag

Affects Jeep Grand Cherokee · 2022–2025 — about 21K vehicles.

The hazard

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem in the occupant restraint controller could cause the door airbag pressure sensor(s) not to work properly. As a result, the side airbag(s) may not work properly in a crash. Note: This recall affects 2022-2025 Grand Cherokee and 2023-2025 Grand Cherokee L models. Safety Risk: Airbags that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
