Hyundai Tucson: Airbag
Affects Hyundai Tucson · 2026 — about 5K vehicles.
The hazard
Issue: On certain vehicles, the side-impact sensors may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driver-front and passenger-front airbags may not work properly in a crash. Note: This recall also affects hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: Airbags that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the side-impact sensors.
